This Christmas,
wouldn´t it be lovely to buy beautiful gifts without the hassle of the high street or the insecurity of the internet?At The Art Barn @ Coopers Farm Wartling, between Herstmonceux and the historic village of Battle, a select band of local and international artists are gathering to present an artistic array of individual, upmarket items to suit almost every pocket.
Some of our work is created just to be adored: paintings, sculpture, illustrations... Other pieces are more useful but equally beautiful: hand-painted furniture, cool, modern lighting, old and interesting housewares and much more.
The venue is almost as exciting as the items inside it; a newly renovated 17th century milking parlour, with views over the Pevensey watermeadows and as far as Firle Beacon. The Art Barn is 25 minutes drive from Lewes, 20 from Eastbourne and 40 minutes from Brighton. We´ll be ready to welcome you with a complimentary coffee or a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie.
While over here why not pop into Herstmonceux Castle, take an autumnal walk in one of the most beautiful parts of East Sussex, or stop for a bite to eat at the nearby Lamb Inn, built in 1526? As the credit crunch bites the retail trend is moving from quality to quality. It´s goodbye to the throwaway culture as people choose beautiful objects that will delight them for a lifetime. At The Art Barn we offer affordable luxury; artistic and witty objets that will be a talking point without breaking the bank.
