Karen Holbrook - Ceramic Sculptures
Karen Holbrook has built and maintained a business as an Interior Designer and Decorative Artist with private commissions mainly in South East England and Spain.
Over a number of years she has used her talent in Designing and Sculpturing Raku Fired Ceramic Pieces which have proved to be popular in Galleries and Commissions.
Following on from her business as an Interior Designer and Decorative artist, Karen wanted to work in 3-dimensions using clay as a medium as it is so versatile. She used a White Raku Clay to withstand the rigours of Raku firing - biscuit fire to 1000°C and then glaze the pieces with a Raku glaze
